What an awesome game by our Hockey Boys Seconds, played at the Taupo Hockey Stadium against Tauhara College.

Nui was playing a strong game with great passes and good opportunities. In the second quarter, they scored their first goal from a PC by Ethan Staddon. The team kept on creating chances in the third quarter, but it was only in the last ten minutes of the game that Ethan Staddon dribbled the ball baseline and passed it to Thomas Stock who tipped it in, easy! Baseline runs do work in the end!!!

A minute after that Tauhara got wings and scored their first goal in the game, which made the final score 2-1 to TNT.  Player of the Day went to Izaak Manders for his outstanding defensive skills. Note: some players in this team have interesting places to put their mouthguards!
