Rugby teams train hard for top spots

Nui teams put in the mahi this year

Our Rugby teams played some challenging, but successful games this weekend, proving that hard work does pay off. The teams have been training consistently all year, despite the uncertainty around game time this season.

We are very proud of their wins this past weekend, with the U16s playing the Taupo Combined team with a score of 46-26, and the 1st XV playing against Otorohanga for another win of 43-17. The boys have taken home the Corona Cup and the McQuilkin Cup respectively, and are now preparing to play in the Thames Valley Tournament on Sunday, 27th September at Owen Delany Park.
