Pathways Connect Trips

Year 11 students connect with local businesses

Last week, our Year 11 students were provided with the opportunity to visit local workplaces that appeal to their vocational interests. This was organised through the Taupo Pathways Connect Event.  The visits took place over three
days and involved 21 local businesses. Feedback from students, employers, and staff has been overwhelmingly positive and has provided valuable conversations about future opportunities for our students. Thank you to all those
involved in getting this event together, with a special thank you to the businesses involved including:

Anamata Café
AC Baths
DPA Chartered Accountants
Hilton Taupo
Taupo Bungy
MB Century
Centre Stage
NZ Police
Davids Excellence in Hair
Peter Cook Design
Landmark Homes
Chris Jolly Outdoors
Hole in One
Te Waa Logging
Opepe Farm Trust
