We had a wonderful time on our Local Legends Camp visiting iconic Taupo attractions and activities. Our students were lucky to get expert training from Ken at Taupo Disc Golf, and they also learned how to play lawn bowls from Stan, John and Sandi at the Taupo Bowls Club. The competition was fierce as some of our students think they’ve found their new calling! Other activities included Starlight Cinema, Taupo Mini Golf, and AC Baths where the students had a blast. Thank you to all the above businesses, as well as to M21 Meats who donated some sausages for a BBQ lunch on our last day. We could not have done it without the support of our fantastic community.
