"Kiwis Come Out At Night"--Year 11 Drama Performance Assessment

The Year 11 Drama class had their very first public performance assessment on Monday night in the school hall. Whānau, friends, and other phenomenal people came to support our students who performed three half-hour extracts from great kiwi plays, by brilliant kiwi playwrights, in a show called Kiwis Come Out At Night. These amazing young people have worked so hard over the last few weeks, both in and out of class. Their mahi kaha culminated in an intense drama camp over the weekend allowing them to bring these stories to vivid life (despite viruses and falling tables!). They learned so much and did such an excellent job that it brought tears of pride to the eyes of Ms. Gowdy, and many others!
