We are pleased to announce our Head Students of 2020!

We are thrilled to announce our Head Students for 2020. After a round of candidate speeches, intense interviews and student and staff votes, we proudly introduce Corban Nicol as Deputy Head Boy, Katie Donald as Deputy Head Girl, Tanirau Harrison as Head Boy and Amber Lafferty as Head Girl. We know these students will do us all proud and will be shining examples of leadership, kindness and responsibility at Nui.

Corban Nicol -- "When I heard I had been selected as a head student, I was grateful that they believed I could bring the qualities I have to the table to make a positive difference at Nui. I also hope to make Nui an enjoyable place and be someone who can listen and talk to anyone about anything, anytime."

Katie Donald -- "I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity of being Deputy Head Girl this year! My main priority this year is to represent my peers perspectives and ideas to the best of my ability, and to be a positive advocate of inclusiveness and student innovation."

Tanirau Harrison -- "Ever since I was a year 9, I always wanted to be Head Boy. So when the opportunity came up, I couldn’t pass on it. It still feels like a dream, but now I know I have to put everything that I’ve learnt over my years at school into good use, inspiring other students around me."

Amber Lafferty -- "My first thought when I got announced as the Head Girl was that I was imagining it. It didn’t feel real but I’m super stoked to have the privilege to represent Nui."
