Students head to Rotorua for some practical learning

On Monday, the Year 11 Geography students took a trip to the Rotorua region to experience firsthand the impact of the 1886 Tarawera eruption on the people, and the land. Spending time in the Buried Village and walking through the Waimangu Thermal Valley gave the students a close up look to the environment and a chance to solidify the learning in the classroom - all good preparation for the upcoming external assessments.
