It has taken a while to process the results for the North Island Secondary Schools Equestrian Cup but we have them now!
There were 85 teams of 6 riders at the event. So 510 horse/rider combinations. The event has grown year on year offering a vast array of equestrian disciplines and the opportunity to give things a go at a grassroot level as well as push yourselves into a very competitive envrionment.
Overall team results were as follows:
Red team 18th
Green team 31st
There were also team results per discipline and our teams shone in Arena Evening and Show Jumping as follows:
Arena Eventing Red team 5th overall
Showjumping Green team 6th overall
A huge thank you to all the caregivers who attended with their children and those on site helping. To our alumni Nelson family who ran the event just outstanding. Also, to Carla Harcourt for being our Team Manager attending meetings and keeping up to date with all the changes that happened during the week and making sure everyone was where they needed to be.
