Congratulations to our junior badminton teams who travelled to Tauranga last Wednesday.
Both the boys and the girls teams successfully qualified for this finals event from the earlier tournament in Rotorua and headed to Tauranga as a Central Bay of Plenty qualified school.
It was a great day of badminton. Everyone played well with great attitudes. Both teams placed 4th (which is awesome but also heartbreakingly close to a medal) in their respective divisions. They also had incredibly close matches against teams that went on to win. So, they were right up there!
