On Tuesday this week, Amelia travelled to the Devoy Squash and Fitness Centre in Tauranga to compete against squash players from across the Bay of Plenty region.
Amelia ended up seeded in Division 1 which was unexpected for her grading. As a result she was facing opposition 1-2 grades above her.
To achieve a win and some close losses was an outstanding day. Amelia finished 12th from 15 players in Division 1 which is certainly a great result.
