The Clay Target Shooting team at the College headed off to their first shoot of the season at the end of Term 1 with some fabulous results.
There has been a high amount of interest in the clay target team this year, with more than two squads attending the Thames shoot. With more new shooters onboarding, there may be three squads at next week’s Murray Luke Memorial Shoot hosted by the Taupō Clay Target Club.
Thanks to the coaches, and to all the parents who attended and assisted on the range. Outstanding results from Lana Breingan, Hamish Seymour who was also shooting for the senior team for the first time, and Fergus Maclachlan for his ‘High Overall’ award. Well done to all the new team members for competing in their first away shoot.
