Team wins 2nd place
Last week the Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools first golf tournament of the year was held in Opotiki. We sent 5 very strong golfers and were able to enter two teams.
Team Red came away with an amazing 2nd place amongst a strong field of 32 teams. They were only 2 points behind the leaders.
This team was made up on Levi Prince, Wiremu Barnett and Noah Morgan
Team Green was Natasha Birchall and Dom Weston. Natasha was one of only 8 girls competing. How amazing!
Special mention also needs to go to Levi Prince who got 3rd gross with a 71, his career best in a tournament. How outstanding and also from a field of 91 golfers.
Thank you so much to the parents that made the transport and supervision for the day possible. We can't get the kids to experience these events and have the success they do without you.
