Cross Country Mountain Biking Champs at Te Miro Mountain bike park
Mud was the story of the day. Splattered from head to toe, our mountain bike athletes had a successful day at the Waikato Bay of Plenty Secondary Schools Cross Country Mountain Bike Championships. These were held at the Te Miro Mountain Bike Park last Thursday.
There were some amazing individual results:
Tori Barrett - 1st U20 female and 3rd Overall female across all age categories
Louie Cameron - 2nd U17 male and 3rd Overall male across all age categories
Antonia Shepherd - 3rd U17 female
The Teams did well too:
1st place overall to TNT Red - Tori, Louie and Kian
4th place overall to TNT Green - Matthew, Thomas and Antonia
