'Lysistrata'

'Lysistrata'

Sunday 13th and Monday 14th, at 6:30pm in the college hall!

Our year 12 and 13 Drama class performs “Lysistrata” - a bawdy anti-war comedy written by the ancient Greek playwright Aristophanes, first staged in 411 BCE.

It is the comic account of one woman’s extraordinary mission to end the Peloponnesian War; Lysistrata convinces the women of Greece to withhold sexual privileges from their husbands as a means of forcing the men to negotiate a peace.

We hope to see you there!
