It’s always amazing when Taupō nui-a-Tia alumni come back and share their skills with us … and last week gifted us with surprise visits from a couple of drama whānau professionals.

Monday brought professional actor, Hamish Insley, to visit the year 10 drama class where he shared his learnings, along with tales from his latest Netflix series.

Thursday gave the year 12 and 13 drama students the opportunity to meet industry expert, actor and stunt professional: Stephen (Tipene) Grey (Jason Momoa’s stunt double - among many other cool things!) Stephen shared info on the status of the film industry at the moment and conducted a most brilliant workshop on stage combat and sword fighting!
