EPro8 Challenge Grand Finals

EPro8 Challenge Grand Finals

The EPro8 Challenge is an inter-school science and engineering competition.  Every year over 25,000 students from throughout New Zealand take part. Students participate in a series of events: firstly within their school and then inter-school.  These events are designed to promote science, engineering, and problem-solving.

Taupo nui-a-Tia College’s Senior Team qualified for the finals held at Waikato University, starting with a tour of the Engineering Faculty the teams went on to compete against the top 12 teams in NZ. The team showed real determination and teamwork, and they performed well under pressure finishing 8th overall.

Well done to the team of Harry Falconer, Aimee Pearce, Robbie Sangster, and Bella Tremain.
