Line 6 head outside

On Wednesday, Mr. Sainsbury and Mr. Fowler took their Year 9 Line 6 class, "Technology in the Outdoors", on a field trip to Lake Rotopounamu. Here they had a chance to test the products they had designed and made during the course. It was also an opportunity for them to learn some basic outdoor skills, such as how to cook a meal using a portable cooker, and being prepared for changeable weather. Although not all students had their products completed for the trial day, those that did proved to have a successful day.

We have a few lessons left before the presentation day, so we are optimistic that the remaining students get the finishing touches done on their products, and we will see the great ideas become reality.
