Once again we are able to recognise one of the many outstanding students at Taupo-nui-a-Tia College with a Student of the Week Award. This week the recipient is Year 12 student, Gabby Donald (Taupō Intermediate, Taupō Primary School, and Wairakei School). 

Gabby is one of thirteen Youth Peace Ambassadors around New Zealand, who are charged with promoting peace within their networks. This includes planning and coordinating activities for their communities during Peace Week. In school, Gabby is studying calculus, chemistry, biology, physics, history and English and is well on track to repeat her NCEA excellence endorsement from 2022. Her future ambitions include study in medicine with a special interest in prosthetics. Impressively, Gabby is involved in all aspects of school life and she does maintain a balance with social and sporting endeavours.
