The Year 11 Fashion Textiles class has saved eight chicken feed bags, one inflatable pool, a tent fly, and a tarpaulin from going into the Taupo landfill.

We have re-purposed all of these items to make waterproof cosmetic bags.  The textile industry and fast fashion are major contributors to environmental problems, as well as taking up space in the landfill.  This is one of our small efforts to make a difference.
