There is so much to celebrate after our triathletes headed to Wanaka to take on the NZSS National Tri Champs (and the climate!). After a delayed start due to it being freezing (!!), our triathletes competed with huge effort and passion in their various individual categories, before competing in the mixed team relay in the U16 category (punching well above their ages), and then following all of this with the Aquathon Champs the next day! We are super impressed with how well they have all done - months of dedication, hard work and perseverance have all come to fruition over the past few days!

Results Tri Champs:

Olivia Shepherd 1st in U13 girls

Kian Weston 3rd in U14 boys

Leah Kilmister 5th in U16 girls

Oli Barnett 7th in U16 boys

They then rounded out the day gaining 2nd in U16 Mixed Relay (fantastic effort considering 2 of them are only 13!).
