Term 4 Ballot

APPLICATION FOR "OUT OF ZONE" PLACEMENTS FOR TERM 4, 2022 Ballot closes on Monday, 19th September 2022 at 3.30pm. Ballot drawn Wednesday, 21st September 2022.

Enrolment at Taupo-nui-a-Tia College is governed by an enrolment scheme. Students living outside the Taupo-nui-a-Tia Zone may apply for a place through a ballot to fill any vacancies.

For Term 4, 2022 (17 October 2022 ~ 7 December 2022) it has been determined that there may be spaces available for Year 9, 10, 11 12 and 13 "Out of Zone" students. Please note subject selection is limited and prior to entering the ballot whānau are encouraged to meet with Deans to discuss course availability. 

A ballot will also be held for current Year 8 students who live out of zone and wish to enroll at Taupo-nui-a-Tia college in 2023. 

Ballots are supervised either by a Justice of the Peace, Practicing Lawyer, member of the Police or Local Government Returning Officer. Parents will be informed of the outcome within 3 school days of the ballot being held.

Applications can be made by completing an enrolment form which is available from the Taupo-nui-a-Tia office or email [email protected]
