The Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College rowing programme gets underway during Term 3 with bootcamp and fitness sessions. As soon as the weather clears and lake warms, our rowers spend many hours on the water preparing for the club regattas over the summer, and school regattas during Term 1.
Our students attend the North Island Secondary Schools Champs at Karapiro in March every year, and the Maadi Cup every second year when it is held in the North Island.
Students can register for rowing at any time, however may be ineligible to compete depending on the stage of the season.
