About Adventure Racing

Yr: 9, Yr: 10, Yr: 11, Yr: 12, Yr: 13

Adventure Racing is one of the fastest growing participation sports in New Zealand. Adventure Racing involves a combination of the following - rogaining / orienteering, mountain biking, running, kayaking, rock-climbing, teamwork, and problem solving in a race format where points are earned through speed and accuracy.

Our students have a full calendar of school and other events including the NZSS Adventure Racing Champs (Go-4-12), Get-2-Go, and a mix of adventure races, mountain bike, and rogaine events here in Taupo and further afield.

Adventure Racing Fees & Terms

All fees and associated costs must be paid prior to competition.

All students, staff, and supporters must adhere to the Taupo-Nui-a-Tia College sports policies, and Sport Bay of Plenty Terms of Involvement.
