Sport is a vital and integral part of life at the College. We offer a large range of sports and have very good participation rates and successes in the various codes.

Resources and facilities are fairly good for sport but in order to maintain and upgrade these we are always looking for extra funding. You can help us by dealing with the following organizations and making sure to mention our College.

These organisations are:
Smiths Sport Shoes: have been very helpful to the college and will give students good deals on their purchases.

Bank of New Zealand: If you are thinking of taking out a mortgage or opening a new bank account BNZ will donate money to the college. In fact students opening new accounts will actually be given $5 to start off the account!

Students can have their say at www.18tracker.com and register as our students to earn us more funds.

Coaching
In order to run sports teams we have a real need for volunteer coaches and managers. Although these positions are unpaid they are very rewarding and can be a lot of fun.

We are very grateful to our existing coaches and volunteers but we are always keen for others to step forward to coach and manage our teams.

Bebo page.

A Bebo page has been set up for school sports.  Due to problems with students accessing Bebo at inappropriate times at school this cannot be accessed from school computers.  However students can share sports stories, pictures and video material by setting up a sport profile then becoming a friend of the Bebo sport site.  “MrBsports".  Genuine contributors are in line for a prize.
