Taupo nui-a-Tia College’s equestrian team had success at the recent Central Plateau Secondary Schools Gymkhana in Reporoa.
The day started well with a group of three riders, Kasey Lawson, Victoria How and Monica Janssen wining first place in the turnout competition. After that the 15 member team moved on to the individual events where they all rode extremely well. At the end of the competition the top four scores from each school were added up to decide the overall wining school, where Taupo again came out on top and won overall first place. Thank you to Reporoa Pony Club for hosting the competition.
