Hospitality Success

David Matthews and Kane Rima-Sollitt have demonstrated excellent practical skills in year 13 hospitality this year. During the year they produced meals showing their flair and creativity. These students excelled in the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals and dishes throughout the year. Both students have secured positions at restaurants in Taupo which will help shape their culinary future. They are aspiring to be excellent in their field.
David has a position at Manuels award winning restaurant with Chef Glen Sando. Kane is working at Taupo Cosmopolitan club with Chef Kieran Hema.
To encourage these two young men and recognise their practical success they have been awarded a chef’s knife donated from Southern Hospitality.
