WELCOME BACK TO TAUPO-NUI-A-TIA COLLEGE

This term the value is “honesty and truthfulness”.

This is the willingness not to steal, cheat, lie or to be unfair.  To be without deceit, fraud, falseness, dishonesty or corruption; to be honourable in principle, intention and action. ‘Truth is often eclipsed but never extinguished’ – Livy, ‘ A lie never lives to be old’ – Sophocies, ‘Truth is tough.  It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may kick it about all day, like a football, and it will be round and full at evening’ – Oliver Wendell Holmes Sr.
