Teacher in Charge of Tennis is Mrs Christine McKnight.
Tennis is played at the college throughout Term One and Term Four. Students are invited at school to play a junior and senior ladder at the college. A team of players represents the school in the BOP Secondary Schools junior and senior tournaments.

Senior Tennis
Senior Tennis started off fantastically this year, with our annual trip to Tauranga for the Senior Champs on Friday the 13th of February. We even managed to get there on time this year, which was a bonus. Mrs. McKnight had organised the teams superbly well, only to find that we had to rearrange them, but they forgot to tell us this. There was a new format and we missed the memo! HOWEVER, all was good and we had the most amazing day. The sun was shining, the courts were primed and we had a fantastic day.

On Friday 30th of October the team travelled to Rotorua for the BOP Junior Champs with Mr. Bucher. We had an awesome day with some fantastic tennis. This was the best we have achieved in a long time!

Senior Tennis
Senior Tennis started off well this year with our annual trip to Tauranga for the Senior Champs on Friday the 15th of February. On the way we were treated to the awesome driving of Mrs. McKnight and the lovely throwing up from Thomas! But we arrived in time and started the day off well.

Report 2007
Tennis this year has been awesome. We have had a wonderful year of great games and lots of fun.
It started with the Senior Champs……….
We left early Thursday morning to go all the way to Tauranga only to get to the tennis courts and find a bunch of old people playing tennis!!! After a few phone calls and a toilet stop, we realised that we had arrived a day early!!!!! (Not our fault eh Mr. Bocker!!)
So, we tried again on Friday and this time with huge successes. Mrs. McKnight won the award for driving to Tauranga and back twice in two days in the “Tin Can”. Sam had to wear Mrs. McKnight’s tennis shoes as he left his at home and Michael and Sam only lost by one point!! The tennis was great and the weather was awesome.
The results were mixed, but we will be back next year for revenge and some more winning!!!!
A Round Robin Competition was held for the Seniors and this proved popular with all students who were involved.

We headed off to Rotorua on Friday the 2nd of November for hopefully, a winning day of tennis for TNT College. The sun started to shine and so did our tennis talent.
